This week let's listen in on a Beatles rehearsal from 1962 recorded at Liverpool's Cavern Club. The track is an instrumental composition by Paul McCartney called "Catswalk." In 1967, it was given to Chris Barber who made a spiced-up jazz arrangement of the song, renamed it “Cat Call” and released it as a single in the U.K. in October of that year with his Chris Barber Jazz Band. Chris's version was also released again in 1971 on the compilation album The Songs Lennon & McCartney Gave Away.
